I get it. I’ve been there.
Early in my first career I worked long hours in a deadline driven, demanding industry. Once, when I was 8 months pregnant, I worked 20 hours straight from 8 am to 4:30 am, the next day. I remember thinking to myself, “I can’t wait for this baby to arrive… so I can take time off from work!” All of this effort and I was still passed over for a promotion.

Who is Professional Growth Counseling For?
Making the most of my 20+ years working in the corporate world, I specialize in helping professionals who are facing challenges in their work and personal lives. I understand the unique struggles of professionals navigating job transitions, managing difficult staff/bosses, organizational restructurings, asking for what you’re worth, etc., all while trying to have a functioning personal life. I also know that many professionals are struggling with high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and burnout.
Combining techniques from therapy with coaching and mentoring, we get to the root of issues to create lasting change towards greater fulfillment and overall happiness.
Working together, we’ll identify the stressors in your life and areas for improvement. I believe in focusing on our strengths and building on them, only addressing weaknesses if they getting in the way to your goals. We’ll discuss what work/life balance really means and define what “success” looks like for you. We’ll explore your mindset too, discovering the stories you tell yourself and rewrite the script, helping you move forward with power and integrity. We can also address topics like:
- Having difficult conversations (Managing up, down, and laterally)
- Improving self-talk (Lowering the volume on KFUK radio in your head)
- Setting and holding boundaries (You are not the bad guy!)
- Learning to say no (How your no’s give your yes’s more power)
- Strengthening your capabilities as a leader (Leading with integrity and authenticity)
